It is heard that the ornate royal font has been transported to Sandringham from the Tower of London for the christening ceremony. The ceremony will be held in the church, where Princess of Wales, Diana was christened.

Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Kate’s parents – Michael Middleton and Carole, her siblings James Middleton and Pippa are expected to witness the ceremony, due to start at 4.30 pm. Prince Harry will not attend the religious service as he is busy working on projects.

The princess will be baptised with water from the River Jordan by Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury. Two years ago, the same water was used for Prince George at the christening.
