A shocking incident took place in Hyderabad when two boys were burnt alive on Sunday night in the town of Jagtiyal, which is 190 km from Hyderabad. The incident was reported by the police on Monday.
The incident took place when two boys of 10th standard, who were classmates at a missionary school, allegedly had a clash with each other over a girl, also a student of the same school. Both the boys were in love with the girl and the love affair is suspected as the reason behind the incident.
According to sources, the boys, who were 16 years old, poured petrol and set each other on fire after having liquor on Sunday night. The boys were identified as K. Mahender and Ravi Teja.
According to sources, K. Mahender died on the spot, whereas Ravi Teja was rushed to a hospital. However, Ravi Teja passed away at the hospital.
The families of the deceased gave another perspective on the incident. The families said there was a third boy present on the spot, which gave a new turn to the incident.
The phones of the deceased and some beer bottles found on the spot of the incident were taken into custody as evidence for data analysis and fingerprints. The police have started an investigation and are trying to figure out whether it was a case of suicide or murder.
