On the 3rd of July, England won the One Day International (ODI) match against New Zealand in the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup at the Riverside Ground, England.

This year, the ICC World Cup is being hosted by England.  The World Cup started on the 30th of May and will continue till the 14th of July.

In the 41st ODI match, Team England had a remarkable victory against New Zealand by scoring 305 runs, with a loss of 8 wickets after 50 overs.  New Zealand, on the other hand, scored 186 runs and lost 10 wickets after 45 overs.

In this series of the ICC World Cup, Team England played 9 ODI matches so far and won 6 of them, against South Africa, Bangladesh, West Indies, Afghanistan, India and New Zealand on the 30th of May, the 8th of June, the 14th of June, the 18th of June, the 30th of June and the 3rd of July respectively.  Team England lost 3 matches, against Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Australia on the 3rd of June, the 21st of June and the 25th of June.

Team New Zealand played a total of 8 ODI matches, including the match against England.  Out of the 8 matches, New Zealand won 5 ODI matches, against Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, South Africa and West Indies on the 1st of June, the 5th of June, the 8th of June, the 19th of June and the 22nd of June respectively.  However, Team New Zealand lost 3 matches against Pakistan, on the 26th of June, Australia, on the 29th of June and England, on the 3rd of July.

Johny Bairstow was the Man of the Match yesterday as he scored 106 runs off 99 balls, followed by Jason Roy, who scored 60 runs off 61 balls.

With this tremendous win of Team England, they secured a place in the semifinals of the ICC series. 

On the 4th of July, there will be a match between Afghanistan and West Indies at 3:00 P.M.
