On the 27th of June, India won the One Day International (ODI) match against West Indies.

Team India won by 125 runs in the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup at the Old Trafford stadium in Manchester, England.

This year, England is hosting the ICC World Cup, which started on the 30th of May and will continue till the 14th of July.

Team India, with its outstanding performance, scored 268 runs and had a loss of 7 wickets after 50 overs.  West Indies, on the other hand, managed to score 143 runs and had a loss of 10 wickets after 34.2 overs.

In this series of the ICC World Cup, this is the 5th victory of Team India.

India played a total of 5 matches so far and won all of them, against South Africa, Australia, Pakistan, Afghanistan and West Indies on the 5th, the 9th, the 16th, the 22nd and the 27th of June respectively.

On the other hand, Team West Indies played a total of 6 matches so far.  Out of the 6 matches, West Indies lost 5 matches against Australia, England, Bangladesh, New Zealand and India played on the 6th, the 14th, the 17th, the 23rdd of June and the 27th of June respectively.  West Indies won a match on the 31st of May against Pakistan.

In the 34th ODI match, India won the toss and chose to bat first.

Virat Kohli, the Captain of the Indian Cricket Team, was declared the Man of the Match as he scored 72 runs off 82 balls.

With this amazing performance in the ICC Series, Team India ranks as the No. 1 ODI Team and is just a step away from the semifinals.

After defeating West Indies, Team India is scheduled to play 3 ODI matches against England, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, on the 30th of June, the 2nd of July and the 6th of July.
