On the 26th of June, Pakistan won the One Day International (ODI) match against New Zealand in the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup.

The 33rd ODI match between Pakistan and New Zealand took place at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground, Birmingham, England.

This year, England is the host of the ICC World Cup, which started on the 30th of May and will continue till the 14th of July.

In the ODI match, although New Zealand won the toss and chose to bat first, Team Pakistan defeated them.  Pakistan won by 4 runs and 6 wickets, with a score of 241 runs after 49.1 overs. New Zealand, on the other hand, scored 237 runs and had a loss of 6 wickets after 50 overs.

In this series of the ICC World Cup, Team New Zealand played a total of 5 ODI matches, including the match against Pakistan. Out of the 5 matches, New Zealand won 4 ODI matches, against Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and South Africa on the 1st of June, the 5th of June, the 9th of June and the 19th of June respectively.  However, Team New Zealand lost one match against Pakistan, on the 26th of June.

On the other hand, Team Pakistan played 6 matches, on the 31st of May, the 3rd of June, the 12th of June, the 16th of June, the 23rd of June and the 26th of June. Out of the 6 matches, Pakistan won 3 matches against England, South Africa and New Zealand, whereas they lost the other three matches against West Indies, India and Australia.

In yesterday’s match, Babar Azam was the star player of Team Pakistan, who scored the highest number of runs, a little more than a century (101 runs) off 127 balls.

After defeating New Zealand, Team Pakistan will play 2 matches, against Afghanistan and Bangladesh on the 29th of June and the 5th of July respectively.

On the 27th of June, there will be a match between West Indies and India at 3:00 P.M.
