New Delhi: The Shiv Sena on Monday said that 100 Rahul Gandhis cannot match Prime Minister Narendra Modi and also added that ‘Suit-boot ki Sarkar’ is better than a ‘Suitcase one’.
In an editorial, the party mouthpiece ‘Saamana’ said that after Rahul Gandhi’s 56-day sabbatical, he has started moving and speaking. And this has restored confidence among the workers of Congress. It added that how long this renewed energy will last before Narendra Modi’s ‘mega wave’.
The Sena also alleged that suitcases filled with cash used to exchange hands during Congress rule, referring to 2G spectrum and coalgate scams.
The editorial said that Prime Minister Modi was absolutely right when he said that ‘suited and booted government’ is better than a ‘suitcase government’. It also added that even if 100 Rahul Gandhis come forward, they cannot match Modi’s ‘mega wave’.
