New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) asked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to order an inquiry into Human Resource Development minister Smiriti Irani and Agra MP Ramashankar Katheria certificates.
Hitting BJP back, senior AAP leader Sanjay Singh while addressing a press conference in Delhi asked the police of Delhi that they should also probe cases involving Smriti Irani and Ramashankar Katheria.
“Delhi Police must carry on the inquiry, we will also investigate the Tomar issue through our internal lokpal. But we also urge Delhi police to probe the charges against Union ministers Smriti Irani and Ram Shankar Katheria”, said Singh.
Katheria is involved in a forgery case of caste certificate and Smriti Irani is facing accusations of providing wrong information about her educational qualifications.
