Providing quality engineering education is our Prime agenda: Ganta

Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh Human Resources Minister Ganta Srinivas Rao stated that ‘providing quality engineering education for the students is the prime agenda of Andhra Pradesh government’.

As part of the process, 6000 ineligible engineering seats were removed and five colleges were shut down completely.

He started EAMCET counseling procedure in Visakhapatnam during which he addressed students and parents. He informed them the newly separated Andhra Pradesh state is conducting all the exams independently for the first time. HE said that almost all the exams were conducted properly with good standards in all aspects.

While talking to the media, he said that the counseling is being done over 34 centers of the state.He also added that the government was unable to install counseling center in Hyderabad due to inappropriate behavior of Telangana government.

Change of EAMCET Counseling center:

“Previously a government chemical college in the locality was selected for counseling purposes, but we are now changing it to Andhra University as the previous was unable to provide proper facilities for Students and parents,” He informed.
