KTR Asks People To Choose Between KCR And The Congress

Information Technology (IT) Minister K. T. Rama Rao told the people it was time to make a critical decision between KCR and the Congress. KTR was speaking at a public meeting at Chandur in Telangana. He asked the people to pick between Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s leadership or the Congress.

The Chief Minister’s son also stated the biggest difference between the two. Stating KCR is the one who achieved statehood while the Congress neglected people’s interest for their 55 year rule.

KTR was quoted saying, “The Congress leaders were only focusing on amassing wealth when their party was in power in the State instead of doing something good for the people.”

The IT Minister pointed out that Congress leaders from Telangana stayed quiet when the then CM Kiran Kumar Reddy refused to give a rupee towards the Telangana region. KTR also mentioned the ruckus created during the Budget Session. Yesterday at the State Assembly, Congress MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy threw his headphones injuring TRS Legislative Council Chairperson Swamy Goud in the eye. Goud was rushed to Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital in Hyderabad.

KTR demanded an explanation from the Leader of Opposition in the Telangana State Assembly, K. Jana Reddy. The TRS member asked Jana Reddy if he would suspend Venkat Reddy for his unacceptable behavior.

The Minister went on to blame the Congress for the fluoride issue in the Nalgonda district. KTR said the area’s water was fine till the Congress came into power. The Nalgonda district suffers with high amounts of fluoride in the water. This causes harmful diseases as the people are forced to cook and drink unhealthy water.

KTR promises to change this and says he will start by providing clean drinking water to the people. He further added the Charlagudem reservoir would be completed at any cost.
