Vijay Rupani Takes Oath As The Chief Minister Of Gujarat

Today, Vijay Rupani will take an oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. The swearing in ceremony is taking place in Gandhinagar. The ceremony is being held at an open ground near the State Secretariat. Several Union Ministers and other Senior Leaders of the Party are invited to the ceremony. A total of 20 Ministers are taking an oath today along with Vijay Rupani.

Immediately after Vijay Rupani, Nitin Patel will be taking the oath as the Deputy CM.

The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi landed in Gandhinagar a short while ago. Modi was seen waving to hundreds of people lining the road as his convoy made its way to the ceremony grounds.

Earlier this morning Vijay Rupani along with the other 19 Ministers visited the Panchdev Mahadev Temple. Rupani’s wife Anjali Rupani also accompanied him to the Temple.

After visiting the Temple Vijay Rupani said he was feeling blessed and he prayed for the welfare of Gujarat. Rupani tweeted, “Feeling blessed after offering prayers to Panchdev Mahadev Temple in Gandhinagar. Prayed for Gujarat’s welfare.”
