The Reliance Jio plan internet service is coming to an end this March 31st. To compensate, Jio has introduced the Prime plan that needs you to pay Rs. 303 per month for 30 GB of data. This is Rs. 10 for every 1GB 4G data. This offer is tremendous and has all the other telecom operators scratching their heads for a solution. As a solution to this crisis, Bharti Airtel has come up with two new plans which will help them in surprising the 10o million plus Jio users. The company has cut down the 3 G/4 G data prices to Rs. 10 per 1 GB which is exactly same as Jio.

The Rs. 145 plan is the cheapest yet provided by Airtel. The company is offering 14 GB of 3 G/4 G data for this plan. This plan is not only same as Jio but also economical, a person may not use 30 GB data every month and this plan provides same per GB data cost but at half plan rates. Another added benefit of this plan is the unlimited Airtel-to-Airtel calls and for unlimited calls to other networks, there is another pack of Rs. 349.

Rs. 349 pack is similar to Rs. 145 pack, provides 14 GB, 4 G data per month and also unlimited calls to all the networks. These plans were priced above Rs.1000 before and have been slashed to match Jio. Also, there is a limit of 500 Mb data usage per day which is similar to Jio.

The catch line for this is that for availing Jio Prime Plan services you need to subscribe at Rs. 99, but for Airtel, you need not subscribe any new plans. Also, Airtel has a better coverage and after acquiring Telenor on February 23, they have increased their bandwidth by 1800 MHz. Despite being in usage for more than six months Jio is still suffering from network issues and proper coverage in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities which is less compared to the Bharti Airtel.
