On the 23rd of September, Apple Store Online was launched in India.

The newly launched Apple Store Online would make it easy for customers to buy iPhone online.

According to sources, the online store now would provide direct customer support including trade-ins, student discounts, and financing options. Some of the students discounts are for current and newly accepted university students, their parents, lecturers and college or university staff.

Till date, e- commerce online sites like Amazon, Flipkart and offline Apple authorised shops were eligible to sell Apple products. However, with the new launch, customers could directly buy from the Apple Store Online.

The company said, after placing an order, all products except MacBook would be shipped within 24 to 72 hours. Macs would take a month to be shipped.

In addition, there would be some benefits for students, financing options for interested customers.

For any doubt, one could also connect to an Apple specialist through call or chat for any advice or guidance. The specialists would also help customers in setting up their new devices, if needed. Apple company officials say, support would be offered in both English and Hindi languages.

Besides, the Apple Store Online launched with a new trade-in programme for its iPhone models.

A customer could exchange any eligible smartphone, following which a trade in value would be given, which they could use to buy an iPhone.

They will need to answer a few questions and could get trade-in value up to Rs. 35,000.

According to Apple, the trade in values will vary based on the condition, year and configuration of the device you’re trading in.

On the other hand, speaking about special offers and payment modes, Apple officials said, Apple Store Online offers multiple modes of payment including credit and debit cards, credit card EMI, UPI, RuPay, net banking, and credit card on delivery option.

In addition, Apple is also offering a cashback of 6 percent (up to Rs. 10,000) of the cart value on purchases made using HDFC Bank credit cards. The cashback will only be offered on cart value of Rs. 20,900 or more. The offer would continue till the 16th of October 2020.
