The ‘i’ is here, and it is ready to go on sale today. The much anticipated smartphone- Xiaomi Mi4i is set to go on sale today at 2PM on Flipkart.com. The phone has already received over 300,000 registrations so far and it looks like the phone will be sold out faster than the previous Xiaomi phones.
However, the company has not revealed how many units are up for sale today, as it happens to be the first flash sale for this device. The phone will also be available for purchase at company’s website Mi.com and soon will be available with its latest e-commerce partners as well.
The Mi 4i dons a soft touch matte finish with an anti-grease coating. The phone supports dual-SIM functionality, and is comparatively lighter than Mi 4. It sports a 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Corning Concore IPS display, with a pixel density of 441ppi. The smartphone runs MIUI 6 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The phone has a 13-MP rear camera with dual tone flash, along with 5-MP front camera. The phone has an inbuilt storage of 16GB which is fixed and cannot be expanded further, as the Mi 4i h=doesn’t have a MicroSD slot. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor coupled with an Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Mi 4i packs a 3120mAh battery.
