Postpaid users of both telecom administrators in the assigned circles will now need to pay Rs. 300 for 1GB 3G information use, as against Rs. 250 prior.

Vodafone, on the other hand, has not increased charges for postpaid users and still offers 1GB 3G data for Rs. 250.

Airtel, Idea and Vodafone had raised prepaid data levies for 2G and 3G in Delhi by up to 47 percent in June after the spectrum auctions in Spring, when operators procured wireless transmissions worth Rs.1,01,000 crores.
