The 125 Infantry Battalion will conduct an Army recruitment rally from the 28th of January to the 3rd of February, 2019.
Interested candidates must pass certain tests and fall under the criteria mentioned in a press release issued by the Defence Wing.
The press release by the the Defence Wing states, the candidates should be between the ages of 18 years and 42 years, should be taller than 160 cm, should have the chest size of 77 cm chest with a minimum expansion of 5 cm and above and a weight of 50 kg or above. The candidates must undergo certain security tests, medical test, individual screening, document verification and physical fitness test to be eligible for the posts.
The rally will be conducted at the Infantry Battalion in Secunderabad. The candidates of Zone IV, which includes Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Kerala, Karnataka, Gujarat, Goa and the Union Territories of Pondicherry, Dadar and Nagar Haveli, Lakshadweep and Daman and Diu, can come for the recruitment rally.
Fitness tests and document verification for candidates from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, for the post of soldiers (general duty and tradesman) will start around 5:00 A.M., at 1105, Railway Engineer (Territorial Army) and Moulali, Secunderabad, on the 28th of January.
The tests and verification for candidates from Rajasthan and Maharashtra will be conducted on the 29th of January. On the other hand, candidates from Karnataka, Gujarat, Goa and Union Territories of Pondicherry, Dadar and Nagar Haveli, Lakshadweep and Daman and Diu will go through recruitment tests on the 30th of January.
The Battalion will be recruiting for the posts of soldiers, soldier clerk, hairdresser, washerman, soldier chef, chef special, mess keeper and soldier (general duty.)
