Nirmala Sitharaman, the Finance Minister of India, in the month of July, will present the first Budget of India after the formation of the 17th Lok Sabha.
After becoming the Finance Minister, Ms. Sitharaman will look after the economic status of India and present the Budget on the 5th of July.
Ms. Sitharaman, one of the strongest Cabinet Ministers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP,) started her tenure as the Finance Minister from the 1st of June.
Nirmala Sitharaman has previous experience as the Finance Minister, as she worked closely with the BJP as a State Finance Minister. She also has knowledge regarding the Central Goods and Service Tax (GST) Act, 2017 and the Companies Act, 2013.
As the former Defence Minister of India, Ms. Sitharaman served the Nation proudly. Her term as the Finance Minister of India would be interesting to see.
According to financial data, the economy of India grew at 5.8 %, but the unemployment rate increased by 6.1 % in the fiscal year between 2017 and 2018.
The financial survey of the Budget of the 17th Lok Sabha will be released on the 4th of July, whereas the actual Budget will be out on the 5th of July.
The first session of the 17th Lok Sabha will begin on the 17th of June and conclude on the 26th of July.
