Forbes Magazine released a list of richest Indians for this year, and according to it, the Reliance Industries Chief Mukesh Ambani is leading this club. The report also states that India has the fourth highest number of billionaires in the world. The list has 101 Indians on it, who are on the international billionaire’s list.

The magazine also released ‘Worlds Billionaire 2017’ list. This consists 2, 043 people on the list, whose combined worth is $7.67 trillion, which is 18% higher than 2016, a record rise. The list is again topped by Bill Gates, 4th time in a row. In the last 23 years, Bill gates has been top of richest people list for 18 times. He has a fortune worth $86 billion, which was $75 billion in 2016, after whom Berkshire Hathaway chief Warren Buffet with a new worth of $75.6 billion. Amazon’s Jeff Bezos added $27.6 billion to his fortune; now worth $72.8 billion, moving into the top three in the world for the first time, up from number five a year ago.

The US President Donald Trump is ranked at 544th on the list with his net worth of $3.5 billion and has fallen over 220 ranks from the last year. The US has a record number of 565 billionaires which was 540 last year, China is in the second position with 319 billionaires, Germany is at third with 114 and India is at fourth place with 101 billionaires.

Mukesh Ambani, 59, is ahead of the pack of Indian billionaires, placed at the 33rd position in the world with a net worth of $23.2 billion. His brother Anil Ambani is ranked 745th with a net worth of $2.7 billion. According to Forbes, the ‘Oil and gas tycoon’ Mukesh Ambani sparked a price war in India after the launch of Reliance Jio in 2016 in India. The telecom company offered services which forced other telecom operators to pick up the pace and get into the race for retaining in the industry.
