Hafiz Saeed To Contest in Pakistan 2018 Elections

Hafiz Saeed, the man accused of being the mastermind of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks plans to contest in the 2018 general elections in Pakistan. On Saturday, the leader of Jammat ud Dawah (JuD) confirmed his organization would participate in the elections under the banner Milli Muslim League.

The Milli Muslim League will first have to be registered with the Election Commission in Pakistan. Saeed was quoted saying, “The Milli Muslim League (MML) is planning to contest next year?s general elections.”

At the JuD Headquarters in Chauburji Saeed spoke to a group of columnists and said 2018 would be dedicated to the Kashmiris. The JuD Chief who is also a declared terrorist by the United Nations and the United States was released from house arrest by the Pakistani Government.
