On the 18th of June, England will play a One Day International (ODI) match against Afghanistan at Old Trafford in Manchester, England.

The International Council Cricket (ICC) World Cup 2019, being hosted by England, started from the 30th of May and will continue till the 14th of July.

In today’s match, Team England and Team Afghanistan will play for 50 overs.

In this series of the ICC World Cup, England played a total of 4 ODI matches. Out of the 4 matches, England won 3 ODI matches, against South Africa, Bangladesh and West Indies, on the 30th of May, the 8th of June and the 14th of June respectively, whereas they lost one against Pakistan on the 3rd of June.

On the other hand, Team Afghanistan played 4 ODI matches, on the 1st, the 4th, the 8th and the 15th of June and lost all the matches.

Afghanistan lost the 4 ODI matches against Australia, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and South Africa.

Considering the performances of both the teams in the previous matches, it is predicted, Team England will win today’s match.

Eoin Morgan, one of Team England’s star players, is injured. Team Afghanistan may try to take advantage of this fact to win today’s match.
