Indian Leaders Should Not Drag Pakistan Into Their Politics, Says Pakistan

Spokesperson of Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affair, Mohammad Faisal, retaliated to Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, with a tweet in reference to the Gujarat elections. In the tweet, he asked the Prime Minister to keep Pakistan away from all politics related to the Gujarat poll campaigns. Faisal tweeted, “India should stop dragging Pakistan into its electoral debate and win victories on own strength rather than fabricated conspiracies, which are utterly baseless and irresponsible.”

Narendra Modi accused the Congress of various acts, including plotting against him. Modi talked about a Facebook post by Sardar Arshad Rafiq, the former Director General of the Pakistan Army who supported Modi’s suspicions. According to the post, the former Pakistani General said he wanted to make Senior Congress Leader Ahmed Patel, the Chief Minister of Gujarat.
In his election speech, Modi said, “There were media reports yesterday about a meeting at Mani Shankar Aiyar’s house. It was attended by Pakistan’s high commissioner, Pakistan’s former foreign minister, India’s former vice president, and former prime minister Manmohan Singh.”

Modi also added the meeting went on for almost three hours and the next day Aiyar called him neech (low level.) This is a serious matter, Modi further added.

Modi also alleged that Mani Shankar Aiyar gave supari (contract) during a visit to Pakistan. Modi stated the contract is to get him (Modi) out of the way.
