Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov decided to call out the American President and North Korean Supreme Leader for their back and forth arguments the last few days.
Kim Jong Un called Trump “mentally deranged” and a “dotard” after Trump threatened to destroy North Korea.
President Trump retaliated with a tweet calling the supreme leader “a madman.”
Lavrov said that there was a pause needed “to calm down the hotheads.”
He further stated, “Yes, it’s unacceptable to silently watch North Korea’s nuclear military adventures but it is also unacceptable to unleash war on the Korean Peninsula.”
The Foreign Minister clearly said, “Together with China we’ll continue to strive for a reasonable approach and not an emotional one like when children in a kindergarten start fighting and no one can stop them.”
Ever since Trump made his maiden speech at the U.N., where he called Kim Jong Un “a Rocket Man on a suicide mission” the Korea leader retaliated. This led to a continuous back and forth between the two leaders during the past week.
