The world’s heaviest woman Eman Ahmed Abdulati passed away in UAE at 4:35 A.M., on Monday. She lost her life after health complications took the better of her. Eman had come to Mumbai and underwent weight loss surgery and then taken back to Abu Dhabi for treatment.
A team of 20 specialist doctors was assembled for medical supervision for Eman.
Eman who was born weighing 5 kgs suffered from thyroid and a serious case of water retention that made her increase weight drastically. She was also suffering from kidney dysfunction and heart disease due to her weight.
The 37 year old woman was being treated at Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi in the UAE. During her recovery at the hospital, Eman who originally weighed 500 kgs managed to lose 65 kgs.
Eman’s family expressed their appreciation to Burjeel Hospital for the care and treatment that was provided to her. The hospital released a statement that read, “Our prayers and heartfelt condolences go out to her family.”
