A man was stabbed to death in Nukkadwala restaurant situated in Sanket, South Delhi, on Thursday.
Hemant, 23 years old, was stabbed in his chest with a knife in the restaurant, around 6:00 P.M. The culprit behind the murder is still unknown.
Hemant’s father suspects the murderer to be one of the staff members at the restaurant. He said, “The police are not telling anything at the moment. However, we feel that somebody from the restaurant staff has killed my son.”
Hemant was immediately rushed to the Madan Mohan Malviya Hospital, Malviya Nagar, where a doctor declared him brought dead.
The forensic and crime team rushed to the murder spot and started an investigation.
According to the initial investigation, Hemant was a staff at the restaurant and worked with his three other friends.
Jugnu, Hemant’s brother, suggested, checking the CCTV footage of the area to find out who committed the murder, as several CCTV cameras are installed throughout South Delhi.
Vijay Kumar, a senior police officer, took over the case and an investigation is underway.
