A married couple, K. Santosh and K. Rajani, committed suicide by hanging themselves at their residence in Lingojiguda, Saroornagar, Hyderabad, on Thursday.
The family members and neighbours found the couple hanging, following which, they immediately informed the police and rushed the couple to the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) Hospital. At the hospital, a doctor declared K. Rajani dead, whereas K. Santosh is in a critical condition and undergoing treatment.
K. Santosh, 35 years old and K. Rajani, 29 years old, got married approximately 5 years ago and had two sons. Santosh worked as a RTC mechanic and Rajani was a housewife.
The police registered a case and an investigation was started to determine the reason behind the incident as no suicide letter was recovered.
