Kamal Nath, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh (MP,) on Friday evening, allocated portfolios to all the 28 Cabinet ministers.

Kamal Nath will hold major departments such as Public Relations, Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, Science and Technology, Civil Aviation, Public Service Management, Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment, Non Resident Indian and all the other unallocated departments.

A senior minister, tribal MLA Bala Bachhan, was allocated the Home Department and Jail Department, whereas Tulsiram Silawat was given the Public Health and Family Welfare Department.

Dr. Prabhuram Choudhary was allocated the School Education Department. Hukum Singh Karada, a minister in the previous Congress Cabinet, was given the Water Resources Department. Apart from these, Cabinet Minister Vijay Laxmi Sadho got the Culture Department and Medical Education and Ayush Department, whereas Imarti Devi was allocated the Women and Child Development Department.

Govindra Singh, a former senior minister, was allocated the Cooperatives and Parliamentary Affairs Department. Jaivardhan Singh, the youngest Cabinet Minister, was allocated the Urban Development and Housing Department. The only Muslim minister in the Cabinet, Arif Aqueel, was given the Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation Department, Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Department and Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Department.

The other Cabinet ministers who were allocated portfolios were Harsh Yadav, Sajjan Singh Verma, Brajendra Singh Rathore, Pradeep Jaiswal, Govind Singh, Lakhan Singh Yadav, Omkar Singh Markam, Priyvrat Singh, Sukhdeo Pance, Umang Singhar, Jitu Patwari, Kamleshwar Patel, Lakhan Ghanghoria, Mahendra Singh Sisodiya, P.C. Sharma, Pradhumn Singh Tomar, Sachin Subhash Yadav, Surendra Singh Baghel and Tarun Bhanot.

All the 28 ministers were administered the oath of office, on Tuesday (the 25th of December,) by Anandiben Patel, the Governor of Madhya Pradesh.
