Telangana State will soon release its Budget for the fiscal year 2019, on the 22nd of February.
A four day budget session of the Telangana Assembly will begin on the 22nd of February. During this session, K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR,) the Chief Minister of Telangana, will release the policies and yojanas for the year.
KCR will also allocate funds to several departments of the State for the development of the State and will declare the final budget plan on the 25th of February.
Apart from the Budget, the Telangana Assembly is also expected to expand their Government. An announcement about the new Cabinet Ministers will also be made in this regard.
As of now, KCR and Mahmood Ali, the Home Minister, represent the Telangana Assembly. However, an official announcement regarding the expansion of the Telangana Government is yet to be made.
KCR, on the 14th of February, held a meeting with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leaders and discussed about the draft of the Budget. The Budget of 2019 will involve the welfare schemes in State, the manifesto presented by the TRS during the Telangana Assembly elections of 2018 and the other development projects in the State.
S.K. Joshi, G.R. Reddy, K. Rama Krishna Rao and S. Narsing Rao were some of the senior officials present during the meeting.
