The former President of the United States of America (U.S.A.) Mr. Donald Trump, finally is back on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
On the 17th of March, Friday, Mr. Donald Trump took to Facebook and shared a post. The post read, “I AM BACK!” It further read, “Sorry to keep you waiting. Complicated business.”
It is to be noted, Mr. Donald Trump who was banned from social media platforms, came back after 2 years, as recently the ban was lifted by the Meta Owned Facebook and YouTube. The move came after Elon Musk owned Twitter decided to lift the social media ban on Donald Trump and restored his Twitter account.
Donald Trump’s access was restored to Facebook and Instagram on Feb. 9, the company confirmed.
At the time of restoring the social media accounts, the Meta said, “The public should be able to hear what their politicians are saying the good, the bad and the ugly so that they can make informed choices at the ballot box,” Nick Clegg, Meta’s vice president of global affairs, wrote at the time. The company also said it would be adding “new guardrails” to ensure there are no “repeat offenders” who violate its rules, even if they are political candidates or world leaders.”
