Mr. Manish Sisodia, the former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, who has been remanded in the Delhi Excise Policy Scam, would be produced before the Delhi High Court.
On the 4th of March, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) would produce the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader before the court. Notably, Mr. Manish Sisodia filed a petition against the CBI arrest and investigation into the Liquor Policy Scam, in the Delhi HC. The petition was filed in the Delhi HC after the Supreme Court rejected the plea and asked Sisodia to file the petition in the High Court.
As per sources, Mr. Manish Sisodia would be produced by 2:00 P.M., on Saturday, the 4th of March. They also claimed that CBI would further seek the custodial remand of Sisodia.
The CBI sources have claimed that the former Aam Aadmi Party Minister was still evasive and was not cooperating. The central probe agency sources said that in January they seized a computer from the office of Sisodia. Later, it was learnt that files and other data were deleted from the computer. The CBI then sent the computer to Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) to retrieve the deleted files. Now the FSL has given them a report and retrieved the whole file deleted from the computer.
