K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR,) the Chief Minister of Telangana, will celebrate his birthday, on the 17th of February, which will be a grand celebration in Hyderabad.
The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) members, K.T. Rama Rao, the TRS Working President, and K. Kavitha, a Member of Parliament (MP,) are among the top leaders who will participate in the celebration.
Talasani Srinivas Yadav, a former Minister, is responsible for organising the grand celebration.
Srinivas said, “Special stalls will be put up at the venue to explain various schemes which are the Chief Minister’s brainchild such as Rythu Bandhu, Shaadi Mubarak/Kalyana Laxmi, Aasara pensions, Mission Kakatiya and Mission Bhagiratha among others. A photo exhibition of the Chief Minister with photographs from his childhood and separate Statehood movement, will also be held. In a way, we will be paying tribute to the Chief Minister who achieved separate State and also placed it among top States.”
Speaking about the events and arrangements, Srinivas Yadav said, several schemes, health camps and programmes will be organised during the celebration at Jalavihar, a water park, in Hyderabad.
Srinivas also said, in order to pray for KCR’s wellbeing and health, three Homams, namely Ganapati Homam, Ayush Homam and Chandi Homam will be performed, on the 16th of February, at Sri Ujjaini Mahankali Temple. The Homams will start at 9:00 A.M., and will continue till the evening of the 16th of February.
Apart from the Homams, health camps will be set at Hamali Basthi in Padmarao Nagar. Dance performances, showcasing the culture of Telangana, will also be held at Jalavihar,.
The TRS will also release two songs, which will explain the welfare schemes in Telangana.
KCR will celebrate his 65th birthday, on the 17th of February.
