Prithvi Shaw hit a century in his debut Test match against West Indies at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot today. He is the second youngest Indian batsman in the Indian cricket team after Sachin Tendulkar and the 7th youngest cricketer in the world to hit a century in their first ever Test match.
The Indian team has gained an advantage in the series as the young batsman scored 134 runs on the 1st day of the match. He hit a century in 99 balls, a feat which has left everyone astonished. The partnership of Prithvi Shaw and Cheteshwar Pujara scored a total of 206 runs.
The Indian team is performing well with an outstanding score of 364 runs and a loss of 4 wickets after 89.0 overs.
