Telangana - 10 Cabinet Ministers Sworn In Today

K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR,) the Chief Minister of Telangana, on the 19th of February, expanded his Cabinet and inducted 10 Cabinet Ministers.

The new ministers appointed by KCR were administered the oath of office by E.S.L. Narsimhan, the Governor of Telangana, at Raj Bhawan, Hyderabad.

After the announcement of the new Cabinet Ministers, the Telangana Government stands with a total of 12 Cabinet Ministers, including KCR and Mohammad Mahmood Ali, the Home Minister of Telangana.

KCR and Mahmood Ali, on the 18th of December 2018, administered the oath of office as the Chief Minister and Home Minister respectively, in front of E.S.L. Narsimhan.

The ministers who took the oath as the Cabinet Ministers are A. Indrakaran Reddy, Etela Rajender, Koppula Eshwar, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Vemula Prashanth Reddy, S. Niranjan Reddy, V. Srinivas Goud, Errabelli Dayakar Rao and C.H. Malla Reddy.

Koppula Eshwar, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Vemula Prashanth Reddy, S. Niranjan Reddy, V. Srinivas Goud, Errabelli Dayakar Rao and C.H. Malla Reddy are new faces in the ministry.

However, T. Harish Rao, a Telangana Rashtra samithi (TRS) member, and K.T. Rama Rao (KTR,) the Working President of the TRS, did not make it to the list. It is expected, KCR will include their names in the second list of Cabinet Ministers.

The State can have a total of 18 ministers in its Cabinet .

The date for the announcement of the next list of Cabinet Ministers is said to be sometime after the Lok Sabha elections.
