Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President A. Revanth Reddy claimed,  –  which is a gross infringement of the rules set by the Election Commission (EC.)

While addressing the reporters on Sunday, Mr. Reddy claimed, the Chief Minister of Telangana was registered in the voter’s list of both Siddipet and Gajwel constituencies, which is a violation under Section 30 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950. He additionally predicted, the People’s Front would win the Telangana Legislative Assembly elections.

The TPCC President further said, the EC neglected the Congress’s warning over this issue and demanded the EC to take an immediate action against Mr. Rao. Mr. Reddy also said, he would take this matter to the Election Commission of India, in New Delhi.

The Congress leader was likewise requested to respond on the announcement made by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Chief K. Laxman earlier, who said, their party was available to pledge an alliance with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) only if the TRS snaps ties with the All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM.)

Mr. Reddy said, “We have been saying that TRS, BJP, MIM are one kutami (alliance) and the People’s Front is one kutami. Laxman opened his mouth a little. After the results on December 11, he will open his mouth fully. We have been saying that they are all one. A vote for KCR is support for Modi only. The people should not see BJP and TRS as different entities.”

The Telangana Legislative Assembly elections were held on the 7th of December and the results are scheduled to be declared on the 11th of December.
