K. Chandrashekar Rao, the leader of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) announced the second list of TRS candidates contesting for the Telangana Assembly elections, on Wednesday.
The second list of 10 candidates released by the TRS includes former Union Minister Danam Nagender, nominated for the Khairatabad constituency and C.H. Malla Reddy, a Member of Parliament, for the Medchal constituency.
The first list of TRS candidates for 107 assembly constituencies was released on the 6th of September. The TRS is soon expected to announce the remaining two candidates for the constituencies of Musheerabad and Kodak as well. The last date for filing nominations is the 19th of November.
The ‘grand alliance’ of the Congress party, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) the Communist Party of India (CPI) and the Telangana Jana Samiti (TJS,) announced its nominations for the Telangana Assembly elections, yesterday.
A total of 119 seats are being contested for in the Telangana Assembly elections, which are scheduled on the 7th of December. The counting of votes will take place on the 11th of December.
