Bhatinda: An eight-month-old baby girl was raped by a 17-year-old in Bhatinda’s district of Punjab. With this, her father chopped off both hands of the accused on Tuesday.
The girl’s father allegedly tied the accused to a tree near Jhumba village and then with a help of a sharp-edged weapon he chopped off his hands below his wrist. The incident took place when both were returning from the Bhatinda district court after the hearing. It is heard that the victim’s father asked the accused to accompany him on his motorcycle to the village from the court.
The accused was immediately rushed to a hospital in Bhatinda and later the police brought his limbs to the hospital. The police also registered a case against the father of the girl.
