The incident was one of the many attacks on Africans in New Delhi, Bengaluru and few other places in the city. The students, yesterday evening, were severely injured after they were attacked by local people of the Noida’s Pari Chowk in UP. The Minister also tweeted that the UP CM has promised a ‘fair and impartial investigation’.

This incident was initiated after a Class 12 student died of drug overdose and protests started in the Pari Chowk area. The locals beat up the foreign students in this tussle. Also, the police following a stereotype, ‘Nigerian’s sell drugs’, arrested five students and released them after finding no evidence.

These released students were then beaten up by the residents of the area where the class 12 student resided. They also accused these students and said that they were responsible for the student’s death.
This incident was followed by the residential colonies of Greater Noida asking all the Africans living there to vacate their rented houses with immediate effect.
