After Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa, Daughter Also Tests COVID-19 Positive

The Chief Minister of Karnataka, B.S. Yediyurappa’s daughter also tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19. 

On the 3rd of August, the daughter was admitted to Manipal Hospital, Bengaluru. 

The news was confirmed by an official statement from the hospital doctors.  The statement read, “Karnataka CM B.S. Yediyurappa’s daughter has tested positive for COVID-19. She has been admitted to the hospital.”

Mr. Yediyurappa has two daughters, B.Y. Arunadevi and B.Y. Padmavati and B.Y. Umadevi. 

However, which daughter has been tested is yet to be confirmed. 

On the 2nd of August, B.S. Yediyurappa tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus.  He took to Twitter and said, “Whilst I am fine, I am being hospitalised as a precaution on the recommendation of doctors.”

The BharatiyaJanata Party (BJP) leader urged all who came in contact with him to isolate themselves and undergo a COVID-19 test. 

The news of Mr. Yediyurappa’s COVID-19 positive came hours after Union Home Minister Amit Shah tested positive of the Coronavirus infection. 

Speaking about the situation of Mr. Yediyurappa, he is in a stable condition and is under observation.
