Indian cricket team Vice Captain Ajinkya Rahane’s father Madhukar Baburao Rahane was arrested on Friday in Kolhapur. Rahane’s father was driving with his family in their i20 when he mowed down a 67 year old woman.
The woman was rushed to a nearby government hospital but succumbed to her injuries in the hospital. A case has been registered at the Kolhapur Police Station against Madhukar Baburao Rahane. The case is registered under IPC Act 304A, 337, 338, 279 and 184.
Rahane’s father was going on a vacation along with his wife and daughter. Madhukar was on the National Highway No 4 on the Pune Bengaluru Highway. He lost control of the vehicle and unintentionally rammed into Ashatai Kamble who lost her life.
