In another case of lynching, three men, on the 19th of July, were beaten to death by locals as they were alleged of stealing cattle in Baniyapur area of Saran district, Bihar.

According to the sources, three men, identified as Raju Nat, Bides Nat and Naushad Qureshi, were residents of Paigambarpur village.

The three men were suspected of cattle theft, due to which, the locals caught them and beat them to death.

Harikishore Rai, the Saran Superintendent of Police, said, two of the deceased were beaten to death at the village, whereas the third one succumbed to injuries while being taken to the hospital by his family members.

The Saran Police reported the incident and said they sent the bodies for an autopsy and registered a case.

The police said, “Three people were lynched at a village in Bihar’s Saran district Friday morning by a mob that caught hold of them while they were allegedly stealing cattle.”

The incident took place during the early hours of the 19th of July, at Paigambarpur village, which is in the limits of the Baniapur Police Station.

The investigation for the case is underway.
