AP CM Chandrababu Naidu Attacks BJP Chief Amit Shah

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu Attacked Amit Shah over the letter the BJP Chief wrote. This morning, Shah attacked the Telugu Desam Party claiming the funds given to the State’s development have remained unutilised. CM Naidu lashed out asking Shah, “Why are you spreading lies?”

Naidu said, “Amit Shah in his letter says centre gave many funds to the state, we couldn’t utilise them. They’re trying to say Andhra Pradesh government is incapable. Our government has good GDP, agriculture and many national awards. That’s our capability. Why are you spreading lies?”

According to the letter by Shah, the Central Government released Rs. 1,050 crores to the special development assistance in the first three years in power. Mr Shah states, “Surprisingly, the state has spent only 12% of this amount and 88 per cent remains unutilized.”

In rage Naidu stated, “Amit Shah’s letter is full of false information which shows their attitude. Even now centre is providing special benefits to North Eastern states. Had Andhra Pradesh been given the same hand holding, many industries would have come to the State.”

The TDP earlier this month quit the BJP led NDA in protest of the ruling party. The TDP has also moved a no confidence motion in the Lok Sabha against the Modi Government.
