Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chief Chandrababu Naidu is dissatisfied with the Centers lack of consideration towards his State. The CM spoke to his MPs over a conference call as he is in Dubai.
Naidu was angry and questioned, “Is Andhra not a part of India?” during the conference call. The TDP MPs have been continuously protesting against the ruling Government for not paying heed to the development projects of the State.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had earlier spoke about the benefits being considered for Andhra, “The package involved several aspects, many of which have been implemented. Some of them are work in progress. We have given so far funds as promised for a large number of institutions which are being created because most of the institutions went to the Telangana state. Therefore, Andhra Pradesh is entitled to these institutions.”
Naidu has also demanded a response from Finance Minister Arun Jaitley over the issues raised by his party in the past 15 days. Recently the TDP and the BJP party’s relationship has been under a lot of strain. Naidu became furious after Jaitley failed to mention the Polavaram Project during the Union Budget announcement.
