Mehbooba Mufti, the President of the Jammu and Kashmir People’s Democratic Party (PDP,) said today, the 5th of August, is the darkest day in Indian democracy.

Ms. Mufti said, “It will have catastrophic consequences for the subcontinent. GoI’s intentions are clear. They want the territory of Jammu and Kashmir by terrorizing its people. India has failed Kashmir in keeping its promises (sic.)”
