Ayodhya All Set For Ram Temple Ceremony On August 5

The most awaited moment of Hindus is finally arrived, with the grand ceremony of Ram Temple foundation ceremony. 

On the 5th of August, Ram temple bhoomi pujan would take place. 

Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, chairman of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, donated a 40 kilogram silver brick for the bhoomi pujan event. 

Mr. Mahant Kamal Nayas Das said, “Mahant Nritya Gopal Das has donated 40-kilogram silver brick for bhoomi pujan of Ram Mandir on behalf of Mani Ram Das Chhavni Peeth.” However, he further added, ““There is no point in using silver bricks in laying the foundation of Ram Mandir. They will be removed after bhoomi pujan and will be kept in bank lockers of the Trust in State Bank of India.”

The event would be a grand event in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, amid the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19. 

Besides the trust, governments of several states and devotees also donated silver bricks to the Trust for the construction of Ram Mandir. 

All of them will be used for the ceremony on Wednesday and will be removed from Ram Janmabhoomi after the event is over. 

According to sources, Karnataka would also onduct a ceremony in the State. 

The Karnataka police imposed Section 144 in Kalaburagi City, Karnataka. 

The order would be in force from the 4th of August 3:00 P.M., to 6th of August, 6:00 A.M., 

Meanwhile, prayers began around 10:30 A.M., with Vedic saints conducting the prayers facing Ram lalla on his temporary seat.

The foundation stone would be laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who would land in Ayodhya on the 5th of August.

PM Modi and four other persons would be on the stage for the grand event.

The Prime Minister will leave Delhi by special flight on the 5th of August. He would reach Locknow and from there would fly by chopper to Ayodhya, around 125 km away.

The chopper will land at a helipad set up in a college in the Uttar Pradesh holy town on the banks of the river Saryu.

Meanwhile, Kamal Nath, the former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, called 5th of August, a “historic day.”  He said, “We are sending 11 silver bricks to Ayodhya from the people of Madhya Pradesh. The bricks were bought with donations from Congress members…Hanuman Chalisa recital is for the welfare of the people of the state.”

The Ayodhya Ram Mandir foundation would be laid at 12:30 P.M., on the 5th of August. 

Religious rituals are under way in Ayodhya, ahead of the groundbreaking ceremony.

The rituals and pooja would begin at 8:00 for the grand event on the 5th of August.
