Sushil Kumar Modi, the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
According to sources, Sushil Kumar Modi, on the 22nd of October, took to Twitter and confirmed being positive for the Novel Coronavirus.
The tweet read, “Tested positive for CORONA. All parameters perfectly normal.Started with mild temp.No temp.for last 2 days.Admitted to AIIMS Patna for better monitoring. CT scan of lungs normal.Will be back soon for campaigning.”
Mr. Modi is currently being treated at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Patna.
Mr. Modi said that his parameters are perfectly normal and he would be back soon for campaigning. The Novel Coronavirus report of the Bihar Deputy Chief Minister came at a time when the Bihar Assembly Elections are few days to go.
The three phased Bihar Assembly Elections are scheduled to begin from the 28th of October and would continue till the 7th of November.
While the first and the second phase would be conducted on the 28th of October and the 3rd of November, the third phase would be held on the 7th of November.
The results of the Bihar Assembly Elections would be announced on the 10th of November.
