Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad, a senior leader of the Indian National Congress (INC) tested positive for the Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.)
On the 21st of June, Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad took to Twitter and confirmed being infected with the virus. He is currently under home quarantine, as per the advice of the doctors, under whom, he is being treated.
On Tuesday, Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad, the former leader of the opposition in the Rajya Sabha, took to Twitter and posted, “I have tested Covid positive today and am under home quarantine.”
Meanwhile, upon hearing Azad was positive for the Wuhan virus, the Indian National Congress leaders like Mr. Ashok Gehlot, Mr. Randeep Singh Surjewala and others wished for Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad’s speedy recovery.
Meanwhile, on the 21st of June, India reported a 9,923 new cases of the Wuhan virus.
