Covid-19 Cases Crosses 10 Millions Globally, Half Of Total Is From India, USA, Russia And Brazil

The Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 cases crossed 10 million on the 29th of June. 

Deaths from the Novel Coronavirus infection reached 500,000.

The cases are increasing rapidly and rose to 10 millions in just 4 months after the pandemic broke out.

According to health experts, the numbers are expected to increase for next few months. 

The World Health Organization reported almost 1,90,000 new cases in the last 24 hour. 

 Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said, “this month the pandemic has entered “a new and dangerous phase.”

Though cases are increasing rapidly globally, experts says, “We are still away from peak.”

According to sources, the Novel Coronavirus infections are currently growing at the rate of about 1 to 2 % globally, which is between 100,000 and 200,000 new infections everyday. 

This number is still significantly higher than the number of people recovering.

Majority of total global cases recorded are from 4 nations, the United States of America (U.S.A.,) Brazil, Russia and India.
