As of 7:00 P.M., on the 30th of April, India reported 33,694 cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 infection.
The cases are increasing rapidly despite the implementation of 19 days lockdown 2.0, starting from the 14th of April to the 3rd of May.
According to the released data, India reported 33, 6974 positive cases, 23,960 active cases, 8,636 people are cured/discharged and 1,095 deceased.
While the highest number of Coronavirus cases are recorded in Maharashtra, which is 9,915 infected people. Whereas the least positive cases of COVID-19 are in Arunachal Pradesh (1) and Mizoram(1) till date. The Indian Health Ministry is monitoring the situation closely and arranged approximately 3,773 dedicated COVID-19 hospitals, health centres and care centres. In addition, 1,94,026 isolation beds, 24,644 ICU (Intensive Care Unit) beds and 12,371 ventilators have been arranged so far.
