Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, met Amit Shah, the Home Minister of India, on the 19th of February in Delhi.

The meeting is said to be the first one between Amit Shah and Arvind Kejriwal after the Delhi Government formation by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for the third time.  On the 16th of February, Arvind Kejriwal took the oath of office as the Chief Minister of Delhi for his third consecutive term. Along with Mr. Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and other Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) members also took oath as ministers.

The meeting, which started at 3:15 P.M., discussed issues in Delhi.

The meeting was a courtesy call to meet national leaders so the Aam Aadmi Party, the ruling Government of Delhi, could discuss the growth and development of Delhi and its people.

The meeting was organised at the Ministry of Home Affairs.  After the meeting was over, Arvind Kejriwal took to Twitter and posted a video, “Met Hon’ble Home Minister Shri Amit Shah ji. Had a very good and fruitful meeting. Discussed several issues related to Delhi. Both of us agreed that we will work together for (the) development of Delhi.”
