Delhi Government cancelled the birth and death anniversary holidays. The Delhi Government has taken a cue from the Yogi Adityanath Uttar Pradesh government’s move, and canceled all the birth and death related anniversaries. The Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia announced this news on twitter. He showed his support to the UP government and passed directions to the chief secretary about the same.

He tweeted this decision and said that other states should always be ready to adopt such good decisions. He also showered praise on the decision to ban red beacons and also to do away with street clinics. Sisodia said that this decision has gone well with the Nation’s citizens,

On Wednesday, the UP government canceled 15 holidays that were declared by the Bahujan Samajwadi Party and Samajwadi Party. CM Adityanath said that instead of holidays, schools and colleges should organize memorial services and curricular programs in remembrance of the eminent personalities.
