Delhi Police Impose Section 144 Outside HR Development Minister’s House

The Delhi Police has imposed Section 144 outside the house of Union Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar. This was done to avoid any gatherings of protesters against the recent CBSE exam paper leaks.

Delhi Police PRO Madhur Verma said, “We have beefed up security and the Rapid Action Force is on standby. Same measures have been taken for areas around Parliament House.” Since the exam leak story emerged, Javadekar has been receiving widespread criticism.

The CBSE board said it would announce the re exam dates for Class 10 Mathematics and Class 12 Economics exams.

The Delhi Police questioned as many as 25 people, mostly students who received the question paper through Whatsapp. On the 23rd of March, the CBSE received a fax naming the owner of a coaching center in West Delhi. The police are struggling to find the source of the Whatsapp message as the app has end to end encryption.

Union Education Minister Prakash Javadekar will conduct a press conference at 1 P.M., today to discuss the exam paper leak. The leaks were constricted to the Delhi CBSE exams and the authorities immediately filed a case.

On the 15th of March, the Delhi Government received a complaint that the CBSE Class 12 Accountancy exam paper was leaked. But the CBSE board at that time denied the allegations.
