Digvijay Singh, the General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee is in the news yet again for tweeting a strong statement against Telangana IT Minister KTR. The tweet alleged that KTR’s influential friends were involved in the major drug bust in Hyderabad.
The tweet read, “Huge drug scam in Telangana. Influential friends of TRS heir apparent involved. Let’s see if they would be saved or prosecuted. Let’s see.”

KTR responded to the tweet with, “You’ve completely lost it, sir. Time to retire gracefully & do something worth your age. Glad that you’ve finally learned to spell ‘Telangana.’”

This is not the first time Digvijay and KTR have fought over Twitter. Earlier this year, Digvijay caused chaos over the internet when he accused Telangana police of radicalizing the Muslim youth and encouraging them to join ISIS.
The former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh also said, “It was on their information that MP Police arrested accused who were responsible for the bomb blast in a train in Shajapur District of MP.”
He further added, “The issue is whether Telangana Police should be trapping Muslim Youths in becoming ISIS modules by posting inflammatory information? Is It Ethical? Is it moral? Has KCR authorized Telangana Police to trap Muslim Youths and encourage them to join ISIS? If he has then shouldn’t he own the responsibility and resign?”
KTR in response to Digvijay’s accusation was, “Most irresponsible & reprehensible thing coming from a former CM. Request you to withdraw these comments unconditionally or provide evidence.”
